Walking tours
4 walking tour allow walkers and nature lovers to explore our land of a thousand colours and flavours. If you want to enjoy nature, then take the 7km circuit through the largest wood in Beauce or the 8km route to discover one of the most beautiful natural sites in Beauce. Put on your rangers and go back in time to discover the 1870 war (11 km itinerary) or to conquer a territory containing abbeys, dolmens and polishing posts (16 km itinerary).
A 5th route is currently being marked out. The Compostelle 28 and Compostelle 45 associations, in partnership with the Les Chemins du Mont Saint Michel association, are currently working on the creation and marking of a Compostelle itinerary that will link Chartres to Orléans. This ancient road completes the hiking trail that will link Mont-Saint-Michel to Monte Gargano in Italy, a 2,500-kilometre pedestrian crossing.
Cycle tours
2 signposted routes are available. Let yourself be told the story of the Beauce with “La Beauce historique”, a 27 km itinerary that will plunge you into the history of the region. You will cycle to the main sites of memory of the 1870 war. Don’t forget to visit the château de Villeprévost (witness to the history of the Orgères gang, famous brigands) and the château of Cambray with its French-style park in the shape of a sundial.
The second 45 km itinerary allows you to recharge your batteries by soaking up nature and its benefits. While walking through this protected and preserved area of the Val de Conie, enjoy the landscapes and observe the fauna and flora.
